Step 1 – Selecting the Glass Tubes

Everything begins with high-quality glass tubes – the foundational raw material of our craft. Each tube is carefully inspected for wall thickness, material purity, and consistency. Only glass that meets our strict quality standards makes it into the hands of our glassblowers.

Step 2 – Heating the Glass in the Flame

The selected glass tube is placed over a specialized gas burner. The craftsman slowly rotates it in the flame, bringing the chosen section to a state of plasticity. At temperatures of around 800–900°C, the glass becomes soft and workable. This step demands years of experience – every piece of glass behaves slightly differently, and the timing must be felt intuitively, not just measured.

Step 3 – Hand-Blowing – The Heart of the Process
